DOX Centre for Contemporary Art is not like many other museums. Located in the charming neighborhood of Prague-Holesovice and housed in a redesigned former factory, it is definitely the place to go for design lovers. The price of the entrance is 180 CZK (25 euros) and it allows you to access to the exhibition area, the cafe, the bookstore, and the design shop.
Even though probably his most catchy characteristic is the Gulliver Airship, a zeppelin that lays on its roof (and that is used as a venue for concerts and other events), what really got my attention was its corporate identity.(more…)
I want to dedicate the last post of the year to Webclerks, as events wise, it was one of the highlights of the year.
Webclerks is a non-profit organization that has been organizing Webckerks Meetup since 2016. This year, for the first time, they organized a 1-day conference. And despise how how difficult is to get something right the first time, the organizers did a great job.(more…)
Last October I was lucky to attend the Forward Festival in Hamburg: 2 days, 2 stages and a lot of workshops and happenings, all focused on Design.
Created 5 years ago in Vienna, it is a place where the creative community can inspire and learn from each other. The core ambition of the festival, as they state on their website, is to bring each other’s ideas, projects, and goals forward. I felt this was totally true, as I came back with a lot of ideas and drawings in my notebook, and a bunch of new interesting profiles to follow in Social Media.

As most of you already know, apart from a designer, I am also a photographer. Photography has a lot of categories and fields. Which means that even if you already know the basics of photography, you may get a bit lost when it comes to photographing a product or an interior.
